'TREE GOD'

$88.00

TREE GOD. Is my interpretation of Celtic ‘Lord of the Wild Things’. Inspired by the 2nd century BCE Gundestrup Cauldron and its’ Celtic pantheon of Gods. CERNUNNOS is seen bearing a Celtic ‘torc’ in one hand, a symbol of power, and a serpent in the other, the symbol of wisdom, as he sits in a lotus position looking quite sublime. For some the god of crossroads, travelers, reincarnation, and a mediator between pairs of warring opposites. A votive for our time.
